  1. I did not do what I wanted at the show, but I am hopeful that having a local shop will bring in some people that did stop to look and admire... On the plus side, your volunteers could not have been nicer, they were great! It was a beautiful day, and I made a few sales, got to sit in the breeze, listen to wonderful music, and did get tons of compliments on my work. I am glad I did the show...and who knows what may result from it? Warmest Regards, Gloria

  2. I was a vendor at the 6/22 show (had a great show, by the way!). Everything went very well - glad to be in the Pavilion with this hot June weather! Noticed that some of the vendors have links out to their individual websites when you click on their name...wondering if you could do the same with mine? Hope everything went well with your mother's surgery. Thanks, Kirstie

  3. I had a lot of fun at the last event. I think due to gas prices, it wasn't very profitable, but I enjoyed meeting the people. Please count me in for the November 23 bash.

  4. There was a large crowd. I'll admit I was a little surprised at the turnout on a hot day (I nearly melted) but I enjoyed it and I'd say we had a successful day. I am extremely interested in a holiday show. I can only imagine how much work is involved. I'd be willing to try to make notices that could be sent to participants to post in their neighborhoods, but honestly, you and The Record did such a wonderful job, especially the last one in the Compass, that I don't know that it's necessary. This show is pretty much the only option available for crafters in St. Augustine, so I'm pretty confident you'll have a large turnout in all respects. Anyway, please accept my thanks for your efforts. You did a great job! Judi Varrone

  5. Thanks to all the folks responsible for getting this together - we had a great day! The weather was good, even after a rainy start, and I really enjoyed the music - i hope they'll be back for the next one! I did better at this one than at the holiday festival - i think it keeps getting better and better each time. Thanks again!

  6. Thank you! and Thank you

for all your work supporting Women and the Arts! I am a Photographer, and I just moved back to

St. Augustine from NYC a few days ago and heard about the event! It

would be an honor to have my Photography included in the Womans Festival.

  7. I wanted to thank you for such a nice show---honestly, I don't always enjoy my time at shows so much; it was a very peaceful vibe. I know it's hard work being the organizer and/or leader, so thanks!

  8. What an Incredible Show! Am new local artist ~ work in meteorite. Would love to apply for your next show.

  9. This is great! I'm glad there is a venue like this in St. Augustine!

  10. Iam but a male dog but by golly, I'm gonna be there.
  11. Thanks, Be there with bells on. I did really well in August! I appreciate your organizing this for all of us.
  12. The Humane Society of Northeast Florida will be there with our mobile unit - with lots of cats, kittens, pups and dogs - all looking for new homes. Count us in and..... and thank you!! Malorie - hope you are feeling better soon!
  13. I had a great time selling at this fair . The bonding between artist and other craft persons was unique and inspiring. Thank you for taking over and continuing this great tradition. I hope Malorie's health will get better, I will send her healing energy. I will be writing about my great experience at this last festival on blogspot and maybe on journals. - Jeneieve McDonald
  14. MALORIE DEAR MALORIE THIS IS A THANK YOU NOTE: THANK YOU FOR KEEPING THE FESTIVAL ALIVE. IT CAUSED ME GREAT JOY TO SEE THAT YOU HAVE DONE THAT. AND THANK YOU FOR THE RECOGNITION IN YOUR PUBLICITY ARTICLES. I FEEL GREATLY HONORED THAT YOU HAVE CONTINUUED THE FESTIVAL AND FOR THE RECOGNITION. I HAD HOPED TO GET TO THE FESTIVAL BUT OTHER THINGS INTERVENED WITH MY GOOD INTENTIONS. I WAS HAPPY TO SEE THAT THE WEATHER HELD FOR THE WHOLE DAY! I TRUST THE DAY WAS A GREAT SUCCESS & I WISH ALL SUCCESS TO YOU IN THIS ENDEAVOR. I THINK OF YOU OFTEN & TRUST YOU ARE WELL & CONTENT. AGAIN -- THANK YOU MALORIE. BLESSINGS & ALL THAT JAZZ, MARIANNE

News & Comments

A note from two of our volunteers:

I want to thank the vendors at the June 22 show who voiced or showed their appreciation to my daughter and myself during our filling in for the coordinator in her absence; from G’s husband lending a hand with a banner, to cool water and hot snacks from B and A, even a lovely thank you card from L. You made a difference in our day, and we thank you!

And to the shoppers who sought us out, we’re so sorry we didn’t get a chance to set up as planned. We truly appreciate your interest in our art and jewelry. Please come back to see us at the Holiday show -- we promise to be set up!

Sincerely,

Shellie & Shonas Kibbee
